“It was whilst I was reciting the Quran, a ritual I perform every Thursday night, that the inspiration came to create Islamic art. It was the dawn of a journey that transported me beyond man’s mundane existence. I have never since then lacked the infusion of ideas and creativity which absorbs me every time I pick up my paintbrush. Through the grace of the Almighty Allah, I am still on this journey, a road that I will never ever tire of travelling. Sometimes I am overwhelmed by the wonderful gift that Allah has given me , and pray that it will stay with me, Inshallah.”

“Art has always been a part of me. My work is an honest reflection of my life, ie. my views and expression. It ranges from contemporary to traditional Arabic as well as Abstract. Creativity and self-expression are essential ingredients to every art work. A spontaneous mixture of colour and form intended to dazzle the mind and inspire the soul. My art is a collaboration between me and my canvas. I supply the passion and my canvas tells me what it wants to be.”
